Health Care for Kids Health Care for Kids/Hope helps Ventura County families apply for health coverage so children can access health care services. Our trained Certified Application Assistors help people, at no charge, apply for Medi-Cal, Healthy Families and other low cost insurance programs. We have several locations around the County. We make insurance enrollment and renewal easier to access and understand. Applying for these health care programs has no effect on anyone's permanent residence application or status. Ace Program For Kids
Ace Program For Kids offers eligible uninsured children medical services at limited cost at VCMC and all County clinics. Your child can get help if they are: 0-19 years of age, and if school age they attend school. These children may also be enrolled for CHDP, CCS or Emergency Medi-Cal coverage. Family income cannot exceed 300% federal poverty level. For example: A family of four cannot exceed $58,050 income annually and a family of six cannot exceed $77,610.
