Dr. Castel graduated from Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her Residency in Family Medicine at Ventura County Medical Center. Dr. Castel is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. In 2006, Dr. Castel was awarded the Scott Hitt Fellow; she is a member of the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
