Dr. Barry Sanchez graduated from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Sanchez completed his Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center, and Surgical Residency, as well as internship, at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery. Dr. Sanchez's research is published in several health journals, including The American Journal of Surgery, and Obesity Surgery. He is a member of many professional organizations, including The Society for Metabolic, and Bariatric Surgery.
