Dr. James Herman graduated from the Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, IL. He completed a surgical internship at Northwestern University and a neurological surgery residency at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Herman is a Diplomat of the Board of Neurological Surgery; a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Herman is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, College of Neurological Surgeon, and Board Member of Ventura Medical Association. Dr. Herman is the Director of Neurosurgery at the Neuroscience Center of Ventura County and Ventura County Medical Center.
