GoalsTobacco is the most preventable cause of death in the nation, more than 440,000 people die annually due to tobacco, including secondhand smoke. Even worse, tobacco illnesses and deaths impact the most vulnerable people the hardest, including children. California created dramatic declines in the rate that Californians use tobacco products -- including in Ventura County. 

 

What We Do

We discourage people from starting to use tobacco, help current users quit, and provide smoke-free policies information. We provide local organizations, schools, businesses and individuals with help, resources and referrals for:
