A Children's Medical Services program
What We Do:
Public health nurses provide education and coordination to medical, dental, developmental, and mental health care needs to Ventura County children in out-of-home placement. We work closely with foster parents, social workers, probation officers and others to prevent illness and provide well child care. We partner with Human Services Agency's Children and Family Services , the Probation Agency and the RX for Kids program.
