Mission
Improve access to health care services for Ventura County infants, children and teens.
What We Do
Children's Medical Services (CMS) manages health care services for Ventura County infants, children and teens through the following programs.
- California Children's Services (CCS) for children under 21 years of age who have medical conditions covered by CCS and meet income guidelines.
- Child Health and Disability Prevention Program (CHDP) for children under 19 years of age with low to moderate incomes or up to 21 years old if they are on Medi-Cal.
- High Risk Infant Follow-Up provides developmental follow-up through screening, assessment, and case management for eligible infants discharged from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Medical Therapy Program for children under 21 years of age with chronic, long-term physically handicapping conditions, and who go to school in Ventura County or have parents or guardians who live in Ventura County.
