Continually track health trends in Ventura County, conduct research into ways to improve health conditions, and provide data to improve response to disease outbreaks.

Services

Provides surveillance of a wide variety of health indicators for Ventura County; including births, communicable/infectious diseases, injuries, and chronic diseases. A selection of this data is published annually in the Ventura County Public Health Community Health Status Report. This section also conducts special studies of health-related issues.
