Emergency Medical Services

Ventura County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) comprises various disciplines and agencies, including fire departments, law enforcement agencies, ambulance services, and other public and provider agencies. These agencies respond to approximately 30,000 emergency calls per year that result in 20,000 transports to hospital emergency rooms throughout Ventura County.

California EMS License Plate Program

California's Emergency Medical Services Authority is developing a specialty license plate to honor EMS professionals in California. Anyone who owns a car in California will be able to get the EMS License Plate. Creating a specialty plate will support and recognize healthcare professionals who work in the emergency setting.
