Reduce the spread of HIV and AIDS in Ventura County through education and outreach.
Services
Provides HIV/AIDS education
and prevention information for juveniles, including those in county correctional
facilities and alternative schools, migrant farm and service workers,
women of child-bearing years, men having sex with men and persons
engaging in unprotected sex with multiple partners. Bilingual information
is available in Spanish, and referrals are also available.
Ventura County Public Health also provides direct intervention services through the HIV/AIDS Center.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, some evenings by arrangement.

Services are free of charge.
How Referred to the Program
Referrals can be made from many sources: Self, school, health care providers, Corrections, Courts, Protective
Services, other County programs, Federal or State programs, community
organizations.
