Crisis Team Services
Description of Services: Crisis intervention and stabilization services are available to individuals who are experiencing a mental health emergency or urgent mental health situation. The goal of the crisis intervention services are to provide rapid mental health services that are supportive and strength-based in nature and that will allow the individual to remain in the least restrictive care possible. Ventura County Behavioral Health has 2 Programs available that provide crisis intervention services: 1) County-operated crisis team: This team respond to calls on adults that are 21 yrs and older. 2) Children’s Intensive Response Team (C.I.R.T.) – This program is operated by Casa Pacifica under contract from VCBH and respond to calls on children and adolescents younger than 21 years.

Days and Hours of Operation: Crisis services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week by phone throughout Ventura County.
Method of Payment and Fees: Insurance will be billed, however, there will be no bill sent to individuals who use our services.
How Referred to the Program: Self, family members, emergency room staff, law enforcement, other health care providers and other concerned members of the community.
