Our Simi Valley animal Shelter handles animals from Moorpark and, of course, Simi Valley. We currently adopt animals from the facility, and owners are encouraged to reclaim their pets here also. All incoming strays are photographed for identification and transferred to the main Camarillo shelter, usually within 24 hours. Check the Locations and Hours of Operation page before your visit.
If you have recently lost your animal and live in the communities mentioned above, you should visit the Simi facility to see if we have your pet. Records and photographs are kept on all transferred animals. If the animal was injured, it would be transported immediately to the veterinary facility at the main Camarillo shelter.
